About Kearns People Search

Records connected to Kearns are divided among the city, Salt Lake County, Utah courts, and state agencies. Land documents, parcel rolls, court indexes, election files, certificates, and historic directories each have a different custodian. We created this private reference site to direct readers to the proper official search, archive, request process, or public counter with less trial and error.

Why This Site Exists

Kearns incorporated in 2024, but its older record trail remains largely with Salt Lake County and Utah. The County Recorder holds deeds, liens, and plats. The Assessor connects parcels with indexed owners, while the courts publish party-name case access through Xchange. Election records belong to the County Clerk and Lieutenant Governor, and vital records are divided among County Health, the marriage office, the courts, and Utah's statewide office. Official licensing, business, and archival name tools add still more routes. We organize those public sources and explain which office can provide an authoritative copy.

What Is Available Here

  • Topics by record type: public records, voter registration records, and local directories
  • Official custodians: the Salt Lake County Recorder, Assessor, Clerk, Utah courts, vital-record offices, and Kearns city records staff
  • Search instructions: practical fields for court names, parcel owners, recorded documents, and historical name indexes
  • Utah access law: what GRAMA, Utah Code Title 63G Chapter 2, opens or restricts and how to request a record that is not posted online

Limits on Our Help

This is a privately operated reference site. We are not connected with the City of Kearns, Salt Lake County, the State of Utah, any court, or any records custodian. Those boundaries mean:

  • We do not retrieve, certify, amend, or interpret official records for a reader
  • We cannot verify that a named person currently lives in Kearns
  • We have no power to delete data held by government offices or outside databases
  • We do not offer legal advice about the effect of a filing or record
  • We cannot promise that every government link, fee, or office detail remains current

The responsible custodian alone can verify, certify, or correct its record. Information found here cannot be used for credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or other FCRA-regulated decisions.
